Midwest Electric is having a planned power outage Tuesday afternoon, August 11, for about 150 customers west of Lima. The outage is scheduled from 12 noon to 4 p.m. to replace a pole that was broken during a vehicle accident. The broken pole is at the southeast corner of Ft. Amanda Road and Grubb Road in Allen County. The accident did not cause a power outage, however, an outage is necessary to perform the work of replacing the broken pole. The planned outage will affect members on Ft. Amanda Road east of Sunderland Road, Mills Road, Coon Road, Kemp Road and Wapak Road.

Affected members were informed via a recorded telephone call.
