Farm spreader hits power lines, Sept. 23

About 278 customers of Midwest Electric were without power Wednesday morning, September 23, due to a farm spreader hitting an overhead primary power line and knocking two transformers off the poles. The accident occurred near Lincoln Highway and Cool Road and affected customers in the Columbus Grove area. The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. and power was restored by 11:30 a.m.
